Anne Koelewijn is a junior professor at the Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, where she leads the Biomechanical Motion Analysis and Creation (BioMAC) group. The goal of her research is to better understand human movement and improve performance. To do so, we investigate methods to predict how people move in new situations and to reconstruct movement from wearable and incomplete sensor data. She does not only enjoy researching movements, but also performing them while playing lacrosse or hiking.
