If you would like to join our community, please create an account and complete the membership forms. Our membership runs on a calendar year and are offered at three levels, including a discounted rate for students/trainees:
  • Professional Members (10 USD)
  • Trainee Members (5 USD)
  • Supporter/Ally Members (5 USD)

Networking

We maintain online forums for our community to network internationally, find collaborators, ask questions, and share advice and resources.

Professional development

We host regular teleconference meetings and workshops aimed to provide resources and professional training to our community. We also collaborate with international biomechanics societies on "Women in Science" events.

Advancing Equity

We offer resources and education to the entire biomechanics community on addressing bias and advocating for gender equity. We advocate for fair and accessible programs among other biomechanics societies, and collaborate with other affinity groups to address intersectional biases faced by our community.

Career Enhancement

To elevate the visibility and recognition of women's work in biomechanics, we facilitate the nominations of women for awards from professional societies. We also spotlight members through our social media and communications and offer a directory of women in science for our community to easily find women for keynote speaking engagements, collaborations, and more.
